Nashville Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality imaging care to all — regardless of whether or not you have health insurance. At the same time, every patient has some degree of financial responsibility for the care they receive.

We want you to clearly understand the charges attached to your visit. If you are uninsured or paying out of pocket, our Self-Pay Payment Options page lists transparent prices for the imaging services we offer most often.

Federal law protects you from most "surprise" medical bills. Under the No Surprises Act, you cannot be charged more than your in-network cost-share for emergency care or for certain services from out-of-network providers at an in-network facility.

Setting Up a Payment Plan

If you are uninsured or paying for your imaging visit out of pocket, Nashville Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging can help you set up a payment plan so the cost of your care is easier to manage.

How payment plans work at our imaging center

Payment plans are arranged directly with our internal billing company. The agreement is between you and our billing company — you do not need to visit, contact, or schedule with Nashville General Hospital to set up or maintain a payment plan for services received at Nashville Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging.

How to set up a payment plan

Call our office at (615) 876-5211 Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Our team will walk you through your balance, the available options, and next steps.

When you call, please have ready:

• The patient's full name and date of birth
• The date of service, or your account/statement number, if available

Patients may qualify for financial assistance for imaging at Nashville General Hospital. The Metro Employee Healthcare Incentive Program allows Metro employees, dependents and pensioners who participate in the Metro Benefits plan access to high quality healthcare without incurring out-of-pocket expenses — such as CIGNA co-insurance or BlueCross/BlueShield copays and deductibles. (If Medicare is the pensioner’s employee’s or dependent’s primary insurance, Federal law prohibits use of the Metro Healthcare Incentive Program.)
